Golf club fitting Taylormade r7 irons with graphite shafts?
I won a set of irons on ebay and was wondering if i get a basic fitting will i have to buy new shafts?
It is possible but highly unlikely. The basic fitting adjusts the club to your swing type. The other factor is how fast you move the club through your downswing, and the number of rpms generated on the ball. If you move to fast the graphite shafts might be to light for you and then you should probably move to a heavier shaft.
