The Brooklyn Children's Museum

The Brooklyn Children's Museum was founded in 1899. Every day children are offered workshops such as The Little Artists, Feeding Frenzy (lunch on display Conservation District) and the taste of Brooklyn. The workshops are an opportunity for adults and children to learn and try various cuisines available in Brooklyn, through after school programs and a camp summer. Admission is $ 7.50. Children's Museum Staten Island
Regular Hours: 12 to 5 pm in New York when the City public schools are open; 10-5 when the New York public schools are closed (including weekends)
Summer hours: 27 June – September 6, Tuesday through Sunday from 10 am – 5 pm, Wednesday, July 8th – August 26th, 10-8
All exhibits in this museum are interactive. In Playhouse Portia, children put to use accessories and sketches in The Game Big, children play giant board games like chess, checkers and dominoes. Meal Time and Storytime are daily activities. The museum is located in the Snug Harbor Cultural Center Park in northwestern edge of Staten Island. Admission is $ 5 per person. The New York Hall of Science

The Science Hall features exhibits more interactive than any other museum in New York. In addition to regular exhibitions dealing with the Internet, Biology, Mathematics, and more, there's Rocket Park, the playground and Preschool Science Place. Rocket Park is home to longtime Hall of the two rockets and miniature golf course where kids can learn how rockets work. The 60,000 square-foot Science Playground offers fun, while incorporating exhibits on wind, solar, hydropower, movement, balance, sound, vision and structure. The courtyard of science is open April 1 to December 31, weather permitting. Playground Admission is $ 4 more general admission price. General admission for adults is $ 11, children and seniors admission is $ 8, admission is free Friday 2 to 5 pm and Sundays 10 to 11 hours, from September to June. Rocket Park Mini Golf is $ 6 per person and $ 5 for children and the elderly.
